Please give me a second to redeem myself from these demons, haunted rooms that have been with me for a while. I am made of part jealousy, part fear but i'm working on this. If I could take apart this conversation, break it down and see what you want from me. Because it fucking hurts when I don't know what you're thinking. Maybe I should give this shit up. Because it's a liars feast, let them take skin off the bone. I can see through them, I can take your words. Build up above them, count them as a blessing. Create a new sound and give something back. Do we lack the strength to carry on ahead? Breaking windows in revolt, singing a song held close to our hearts. So now let's take all this summer's heat and find a way to break out of this town. It's tearing at my skin, breaking all my hopes. These same old paths and turns won't keep me sane any more, I feel divided and exhausted. I want to be where I belong. As we're taken away, one by one our souls are left behind. The Lock and key keeps our lives in a mess. I want to feel alive, I want to feel like i'm something more than just flesh. Seventy years ahead and I will not be forced into the grind. Won't be taken away because my soul is still shining and it'll never be a dull grey. The Lock and key will never be in control of me, this lock and key. Will this rhythm forever beat inside of me. Catching dreams, living the right way.

Was I born and bred to sit on a fucking desk? Sidetracked from life with an endless hate but do nothing about it. You gotta keep the deadlines. You talk about targets and sales, then retreat back to your home and wrap yourself in your favourite show. Throwing paper planes at the cracks in the walls to keep my brain from going numb. Something better change my life tonight, i'm here to stay for nearly a fucking century. You could take anything from me and it probably wouldn't phase me. Passing under the same old bridge, screaming out for something more. Graffiti scrawls the lifeless walls and shines a light on me today. I'm hurting now and god i'm still cursing at you. Feels like i'm falling down.
I will shout it from the top of my lungs. I want to begin again and undo the times where I felt sorry for myself. And I will take notice to missed opportunities. If I could start again I would make everything alright.

This light has been wearing thin. Beach is more like a barricade than a sign of escape. Can I be free? This year has been more like a rush. Friends coming, friends going. The distance it scares me, will I see you again? That's not all, i'm just scared of growing old. As these hands they start to wear, my youth is slipping down. So let's sing like it's our last night and dance like it's just one life. We can sit on the banks and catch memories with our hands. Use music as our tool to capture what we went through, and to keep our heads up even when we feel like giving in. Let's not waste any time on past mistakes, because i'm growing too fast to care about what happens in the end.
So hang on to me my friend, we will get there in the end. And if you keep singing to me we can keep this ship afloat.
